Who builds Vectal

David Ondrej started building Vectal in October 2024. He also runs the David Ondrej YouTube channel, where he covers AI agents and AI tools. Vectal is made by Vectal LLC.

What Vectal does

  • Work with AI. Chat with GPT, Claude, DeepSeek, and more next to your tasks. Vectal remembers your goals and past work, so every model already knows you.
  • Let your agents in. Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and other agents can read and update your workspace through the REST API, the vectal CLI, or the Agent Skill. API access is included on every plan.

Timeline

  1. October 2024: David Ondrej starts building Vectal, with AI at the core from day one.
  2. March 2025: Vectal passes 10,000 monthly active users.
  3. Today: 90+ releases shipped in public. Every task, project, note, and habit is open to AI agents.
